Motor dealership host Julie Huyton was the lucky winner of a new chair at a well supported Shropshire Chamber of Commerce & Enterprise ‘Network with your Neighbours’ networking event.

Julie, who was representing William A. Lewis Toyota at the lunchtime event for businesses on Stafford Park, Telford, was thrilled to win the leather chair worth £150 and donated by sponsors Chrisbeon Office Supplies.
“The chair is just what my husband Steve and myself want – it will come in most handy at home,” she commented after being presented with her business card draw prize by Richard Hughes, partner of Chrisbeon Office Supplies, at the Chamber’s Trevithick House Headquarters, Stafford Park.
Introducing the networking event, which was attended by about 60 business representatives, mostly from Stafford Park, Chamber Managing Director Richard Sheehan said it was a ‘pilot’ which would be replicated at Trevithick House as well as in the wider business community.
“The event is not only designed to raise awareness of businesses, but create a platform which develops local procurement and encourages companies to work and trade together.
“At the same time, increasing their contacts and the opportunities those contacts can bring.”
Said Richard Hughes:  “As a patron of the Chamber, we welcome this initiative and we are delighted with the amount of support the networking event has generated.
“We hope it will be the first of many similar events,” he added.
