PUTTING OUR EMPLOYEES’ HEALTH & WELLBEING FIRST !
Just the other day we decided to move forward with implementing an even higher level of health and safety in our workplace. With the nature of our business and wide product range , we thought it essential to put the health of our employees first!
So we contacted an acquaintance of ours, ETD Training who are a member of Shropshire Chamber Of Commerce and purchased two of their online e-learning training packages; Manual Handling and Fire Safety , after discussing the subject of staff training at one of the Chamber’s local Business Expo’s recently
With customer service being one of our highest priorities, we are passionate about providing a top level service. For this reason, it wouldn’t make sense to lose an employee through any injury sustained at work, as this could result in unnecessary downtime and, consequently, the high level of service which we provide for you being affected!
Why Manual Handling?
The nature of our work makes Manual Handling training a necessity. In our warehouse and site installations , we are constantly lifting, pulling, bending, lowering and finding ourselves in every position under the sun…in order to get the job done. So, if moving and handling is part of our job, then our workforce will do it in the safest way possible.
Why Fire Safety?
As for the Fire Safety training, it’s no surprise why we chose to be trained in this subject as well. Every workplace has the potential for a fire, so nothing should be left to chance. We certainly aren’t going to take needless risks with staff or the business! If for whatever reason, something like a fire did break out, we want to see every one of our employees out at the assembly point in double quick time.
So yes, we love our employees and value their health and wellbeing – and we aren’t afraid to put our money where our mouth is to show how much their health and safety means to us!
