We were really pleased to wave off some of our desks to a new, very worthwhile, home at a Shropshire charity.
The Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust has taken advantage of our charity scheme, which we announced earlier this month to help clear our showroom.
We know that kitting out offices can be expensive for charities so we set up a one-off scheme for them to obtain chairs, desks and tables for free.
And charities, as well as community groups and schools, can still take advantage of our offer until the end of May.
Barbara Taylor, from the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust, said: “There was an excellent array of used furniture some free, some at a reduced price. I chose two free desks and paid for a swivel chair.
“The furniture is for existing staff members and for a new staff member who will be starting shortly. This is a very good and very useful service for charities and an excellent method of recycling.”
Part of our pre-loved range of second hand office furniture needs to go as we are making space for new, larger stocks arriving – and we would really like it to go to a home where it will benefit not-for-profit and charitable organisations.
Our Stafford Park showroom in Telford is currently choc-a-block so we would love for voluntary organisations to get in touch and come along to collect a range of furniture.
We know there are lots of organisations out there who will benefit from the furniture we have available to give away so it has to be a first come first served basis while stocks last.

The general public, business owners and managers who may be interested in buying Pre-Loved furniture are welcome to pop into the showroom at Telford, where there is also a new furniture showroom.
We also have a showroom showcasing our brand new furniture at our base in Shrewsbury, which can be viewed at any time, seven days a week, during opening hours.

We offer a trade-in facility on existing office furniture, helping to offset the cost of buying new and helping businesses to meet their ‘green’ obligations.
