IT’S PRE-LOVED FOR A NEW CHARITY

Taste Not Waste, Telford’s newest charity shop, has a philosophy which is similar to the one held by long-standing business furniture specialists Chrisbeon.

For Stafford Park-based family firm Chrisbeon operate a recycling policy and are very much against waste of any kind.

So when Taste Not Waste approached them regarding a furniture donation, Chrisbeon had no hesitation in agreeing to a quantity of their popular Pre-Loved used office furniture.

As a result, they have donated two desks, three chairs, three lockers and a filing cabinet, in all worth around £500.

“Taste Not Waste, which has only recently opened its charity shop in Dawley, was obviously in need of help and we were willing to respond to a plea from the local community,” said Chrisbeon partner Richard Hughes.

“As a local business we felt we should do our best to help them and our Pre-Loved stocks of used furniture are extremely popular.  Pre-Loved has always been a big part of what we do.”

Said Pauline Jackson of Taste Not Waste:  “We are thoroughly touched by the generosity of Chrisbeon and are absolutely thrilled with the new office furniture they have kindly donated.

“The excitement surrounding the project is phenomenal and we appreciate local businesses supporting their community in such worthwhile projects.

“It is with the backing of established businesses, such as Chrisbeon, which makes it possible to deliver this much needed venture, at the same time helping those in need and creating a more caring community.”

She added:  “We would like to express our utmost gratitude to the company for giving us their support.”
