Climbing Snowdon for Climbing Out

Climbing Snowdon for Climbing Out

At Chrisbeon we’re lucky to work with so many great people, businesses and organisations – one of those organisations is Climbing Out who we chose to support in 2017 as our local charity.

Earlier this year we had the pleasure of attending the annual Climbing Out ball and awards evening which was great to be a part of.

During this year we’ve seen some of the fantastic work they do and the people which benefit from their support and help – it’s extremely rewarding.

Climbing Out runs five day outdoor activity programmes which help rebuild the confidence and self belief in young people who have been through a life changing injury, illness or trauma.

2017 has been an incredible year for Climbing Out, as they’ve run more programmes than ever, reaching more young people than ever, with many more exciting plans for 2018.

This weekend one of our partners here at Chrisbeon will be taking on a huge challenge to help raise money for the charity.

Richard Hughes will be joining 63 others as they look to ascend Snowdon on a charity hike this Saturday.

The group, which is made up of volunteers, supporters and people who’ve had their lives changed by Climbing Out will try and reach the 1,085m summit while at the same time raising money and creating awareness – we’ll keep our fingers crossed for some good autumn weather.

If you’d like to sponsor Richard then you can do so via his Just Giving page. Make sure you come back to the Chrisbeon blog to see how he got on and how much the charity raised!

Good luck Richard!
