We were really pleased to host the recent Shropshire Chamber Patron Forum at our Telford showroom.
It was an opportunity to welcome guests, share our story, and celebrate a significant milestone in Chrisbeon’s history – our 50th anniversary.
Breakfast networking
The morning started with a warm welcome as visitors were invited to enjoy a spread of breakfast pastries and refreshments. We wanted to provide a setting for networking to kick off the day, and it was great to see so many familiar faces and new connections being made.
We took a moment to tell the story of Chrisbeon’s journey, from our beginnings in 1974 to becoming a trusted provider of office furniture and stationery for businesses across the region. To mark our golden anniversary, we even brought in special gold chairs for the event, giving the showroom a celebratory touch.
Anniversary mementos
As a token of our appreciation, each visitor was also gifted a gold Chrisbeon anniversary pen – a small memento of the day and a symbol of our gratitude for the support of the local business community over the past five decades.
While showcasing our new furniture showroom, we also highlighted our pre-loved showroom which plays a crucial role in our commitment to sustainability. When a company is looking to refurbish their workspace, we offer the option to take their old furniture in part exchange, ensuring that it finds a new home rather than being discarded. This approach not only helps us reduce waste but also supports businesses in creating environmentally conscious workplaces.

We also showed off our 50-year anniversary display – a nostalgic look at Chrisbeon’s history, featuring office desks and supplies from the past and a selection of photographs from our journey through the years.
